On a day last week I helped my dad clean off the driveway, with 2 inches of ice stuck on. But, he didn’t really help me because I did it by myself. I felt so happy! But the main reason is about how my mom and dad felt. My mom felt as if she would have done it, but I did it. My dad said it was the best present ever.

Adryanna's Journal- 4th Grade

Today I helped my cousin figure out a problem in math. It was about a-rays and angles. I told her to reread the directions. Then by the time she was done she understood the problem. It made her feel great when she got a 100% on her test. I felt very good for her.
